Facebook Soundmojis, are sound emojis fun?

Facebook Soundmojis

The popular social network founded by Mark Zuckerberg keeps adding new features to Facebook . We recently told you about a new tool that allows you to appoint experts in your groups , and now we want to tell you about the new surprise that the popular application has prepared for us.

And it is that the big F wants to surprise us with the Soundmojis . As its name indicates, we are before the characteristic expression icons, but now they add related sound effects.

In this way, and in the words of Facebook, they have taken the “best of both worlds” to create these curious emojis with sound. Say that the Soundmojis have a mechanism exactly the same as that of a traditional emoticon, and you can use it in a chat as if it were a traditional emoji.

We will be able to hear applause, crickets, drum rolls, canned laughter… Come on, what options are you going to have? Additionally, Facebook has also included audio clips from artists such as Rebecca Black. Not enough for you? Well, know that you can also send audios of series, movies and television programs. They currently have sounds from Fast & Furious 9, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Bridgerton, although they will be expanding their catalog with more sound clips.

Regarding the mechanism for using the new emojis with Facebook sounds, it should be noted that using the Soundmojis could not be easier. All you have to do is this:

  • Open a Messenger chat as normal.
  • In the conversation window, click on the smiley face to open the expressions menu.
  • You will see that there is an icon of a speaker. You must click on it.
  • Now you will see that a new menu is displayed where you will see the different emojis with available audio.

Note that this new function is arriving in a phased manner . It is possible that at the moment you do not have this function active. Don’t worry, the launch is worldwide, so in the next few days you will be able to enjoy the emojis with sound from Facebook.
