Today, though there are still a few AI enthusiasts among us, the majority of venture-capital outfits have at least some preliminary technologies in place for using artificial intelligence to automate businesses. It’s too soon to say whether the technology will be available to start-ups, but it’s safe to say that big-name companies like GE are well on their way. If you haven’t started thinking about how you can use artificial intelligence and automation to streamline your business, then you’re behind the times. Here are some examples of how you can apply these technologies today.
Most business processes are extremely tedious. Even the most basic online forms of business processes are incredibly time-consuming. Traditional business processes also tend to treat employees as commodities, to be purchased and disposed of as required. You might hire a great CPA but the cost of maintaining that person in a cubicle is defrayed by the salary of all the other employees. If you want to streamline your business processes, then you need to focus less on acquiring the skills of individual employees and more on automating the processes that involve them.

Now, here’s where the magic happens. Using Google’s keyword analytics program, enter the related keyword phrases for each process in the business processes list that you’ve created. Once you have these key phrases in hand, go back to the URL that you created for your keyword analysis project and paste those into the “refresh” option at the top of the analytics screen. This will cause the data shown on the screen to automatically reload, giving you a fresh snapshot of all the changes that have been made across your entire organization.
From this snapshot, you’ll want to zoom in on any processes that seem to be wasteful or time-consuming. To do this, you just need to highlight those processes and then scroll down to the bottom of the page. At the bottom of the page, you’ll see a “drop-down list” that has 3 tabs. Click on “earch,” and from there, you can select ” Artificial Intelligence and Automation Tools” so that you can identify which business processes are currently in your development stages.
When you’ve identified which processes you’re developing, make a list of benefits that your new system can provide to the business. For example, if your new process will help your company reduce inventory costs, then write down how reducing inventory costs can help the overall profitability of the business. When developing a list of benefits, it is best to make sure that you include both short-term and long-term benefits of implementing the new process. Otherwise, you may end up creating a false economy in which the new system isn’t worth the investment since it doesn’t create long-term value. However, if you do include both types of value, then you will likely find that applying the new process to your business can save you a lot of money and time, making your total investment return for a sizable profit.
Of course, when you’re beginning the process of designing and rethinking business processes, you need to be aware that there are many different artificial intelligence and automation technologies available to help you along the way. You need to know what you want and what you can accomplish before you ever get started. Take the time to research the different options and identify the things that you will need in order to make your new system work for you. Once you know what you need, then you can start to identify the technology that you have to implement in order to make it all happen.

You don’t want to jump into the deep end with a complete overhaul of your business processes without having a good foundation. In fact, you should focus on improving one aspect at a time until you’ve achieved the type of results that you were going for in the first place. This might mean incorporating several different technologies into your redesigning process until you’ve created the perfect system. Once you’ve done that, then you can move on to other parts of the project.
